We Have The FundS.

We Just Need The Will.

In 2021, Arlington generated $20.64 million from sales tax alone towards the Street Maintenance Fund. ¹ Where is that money going? Is it being used efficiently? Why are our streets still so bad? This website is meant to answer those and all other street related questions for the city of Arlington Texas.

Did you know that driving on bad roads costs you time and money? According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, “Commute times have increased by 11.4% in Texas, and on average, each driver pays $709 per year in costs due to driving on roads in need of repair.²

With over 200k drivers in Arlington, that’s $140,000,000 a year that residents are paying in additional costs because our streets are in horrible condition!
